Our storyBuilt by people who understand what's at stake
BallotDA was not created in a lab. It was shaped alongside election teams, in real counties, working through real challenges and with inputs from Election Administrators and Supervisors.
From the beginning, our focus has been simple. Understand how elections actually run. Identify where processes break down. Build tools that solve those problems without adding complexity.
We started by working closely with county election offices to support Poll Worker Management, training, and communication. It quickly became clear that these challenges were not isolated. The same teams were managing Asset Management, absentee workflows, voter inquiries, FOIA / Open Records, and compliance, often across disconnected systems.
What began as a targeted solution evolved into something broader: A single platform designed to support the full election lifecycle.
As we expanded, we continued to stay close to the people doing the work. Feedback from election directors, staff, and field teams shaped every module we built. Whether it was improving visibility into Election Day operations, managing Advance In-Person (AIP / Early Voting), Asset Management, simplifying FOIA / Open Records tracking, or helping teams respond faster to voter questions, each step forward came from real operational needs.
We describe the platform as intelligent, not because of the technology alone, but because it is built to anticipate the challenges election teams face and help them respond with clarity and confidence.
Our goal is not just to provide software. It is to help election teams walk into every election prepared, coordinated, and in control.
We continue to build the same way we started, by listening, learning, and solving the problems that matter most.
Election Operations.
Unified. Intelligent. Connected.

Where the market falls short and where we step in
Election operations are under pressure from every direction. Here is where existing tools fail, and exactly how BallotDA closes each gap.
Poll worker operations are fragmented
Scheduling, communication, attendance, and payroll live in separate tools and spreadsheets. Last-minute changes create missed assignments and delayed pay.
One platform, every step of the lifecycle
BallotDA unifies recruitment, scheduling, automated communication, kiosk attendance, and payroll handoff in a single connected workflow, eliminating spreadsheets and disconnected tools entirely.
Poll worker communication becomes overwhelming during peak times
Last-minute no-shows and schedule changes flood your office with calls. Staff spend hours on manual follow-ups instead of managing operations.
AI-powered resolution, not a surge of calls
BallotDA's Intelligent Help Desk uses AI to resolve issues instantly, surface smart suggestions, and continuously learn from your knowledge base, so your team spends less time fielding calls and more time running the election.
Asset tracking lacks visibility and chain of custody
Equipment transfers and L&A readiness are tracked manually or across disconnected systems. Audit-ready logs are missing exactly when they matter most.
Real-time visibility from warehouse to precinct
QR-code scanning, location-based check-in/check-out, and automated audit logs give you a complete chain of custody for every piece of equipment, always ready for FOIA, litigation, or post-election review.
FOIA and reporting create constant pressure
Open records requests require pulling data from multiple sources. Meeting deadlines consistently is nearly impossible without a centralized system.
From intake to response, in one place
Track incoming requests, add notes, set deadlines, and respond directly from the platform. Every record and response is logged automatically, supporting compliance and transparency without extra effort.
Absentee workflows are fragmented and time-sensitive
Request intake, ballot processing, and status tracking span multiple systems and steps. Gaps in the workflow increase operational risk and voter frustration.
The full absentee lifecycle, digitized and connected
BallotDA manages the complete absentee process from request to processing to status tracking. State compliance is built in, real-time visibility reduces voter inquiries, and manual handoffs are eliminated.
Limited real-time visibility across election operations
Election teams rarely have a single view across locations, staffing, and assets. Issues are identified too late to respond effectively on Election Day.
Every location scored, every gap surfaced early
BallotDA's Election Readiness Scorer gives leadership a real-time view of readiness across every location and milestone, so your team can identify and close gaps before they become Election Day problems.
Voter engagement is inconsistent and disconnected
Voter communication is scattered across mail, call centers, and external groups. Citizens can't get timely, accurate answers, especially during peak periods.
24/7 voter support, at any scale
Nadia is BallotDA's AI-powered voice and chat assistant that delivers accurate, real-time election information around the clock. Citizens get instant answers at any volume, without adding staff or overwhelming your call center.
Election laws and guidance are hard to access
Staff and citizens rely on PDFs, binders, and scattered sources to find rules and procedures. Clear answers are hardest to find exactly when they matter most.
Every law, policy, and procedure, searchable instantly
PolicyAI brings federal law, state statutes, and EAC guidance into one AI-powered platform. Staff get precise, sourced answers in seconds. Citizens can self-serve without calling your office.
Precinct management and staffing are complex to coordinate
Assigning the right number of workers to each location, adjusting for turnout, and managing last-minute changes across precincts can quickly become unmanageable.
Right people, right place, right time
BallotDA assigns workers to precincts based on registered voters and projected turnout, then lets you adjust in real time. Last-minute changes sync instantly. No spreadsheets, no phone trees required.
Expense management is difficult at scale
Large jurisdictions manage significant budgets across staffing, equipment, logistics, and vendors. Tracking expenses, staying within budget, and preparing reports require pulling data from multiple sources.
Every dollar tracked, from staffing to election planning
Poll worker compensation, hours, and payroll handoff are managed seamlessly within Poll Worker Management. Broader election budgets, covering equipment, logistics, and vendor spend, are tracked and reported through the Election Insights Dashboard, giving leadership a complete financial picture in one place.
Language barriers limit effective voter engagement
Voters who don't speak English struggle to get timely, accurate information. Staffing multilingual support during peak periods is costly and delivers inconsistent results.
Every voter, every language, consistent answers
Nadia delivers real-time voter support in multiple languages, with no additional staff required. Every voter receives consistent, accurate answers in their preferred language, at any volume, any time of day.
Training delivery does not scale for large poll worker teams
Instructors repeat the same sessions for hundreds or thousands of workers. Delivery is inconsistent, trainer fatigue builds, and tracking completion across a large roster is difficult.
Scalable, trackable, scenario-based learning
Upload custom videos, assign role-specific assessments, and track completion across your entire roster simultaneously. Scenario-based and AI-assisted modules ensure every poll worker is prepared, without repeating a single session.

From a single county to a growing national platform
Sonline LLC Founded
Sonline began building digital solutions for complex operational environments across the public sector, including state and local government agencies, education, and small businesses. From day one, the mission was to bring enterprise-grade efficiency to government workflows through scalable software solutions and system integrations.
CTO Consulting and Government Technology Integrations
We partnered with agencies such as Paulding County, GA, City of Yarmouth, MA, and Lowndes County, GA, supporting critical technology initiatives as an extended IT team. Our work included database architecture, API integrations, and workflow automation, building a strong foundation in government technology consulting and digital transformation.
Entry into Election Technology
Following the 2020 presidential election, we began working with metro Atlanta election offices to support absentee ballot tracking and reporting. This marked our entry into election technology and election operations support systems.
BallotDA Election Operations Platform Launches
The first core modules of BallotDA, a modern election management software platform, went live. Engagements at GAVREO helped us identify the growing need for tools such as Poll Worker Management and Asset Management. Douglas County, GA became our first customer.
Poll Worker Attendance, Payroll, and Kiosk Solutions
BallotDA expanded to include poll worker attendance tracking, payroll management, and operational handoffs. Our virtual kiosk introduced a streamlined alternative to manual processes and hardware-based systems, improving efficiency for election day operations.
Comprehensive Election Management Suite
BallotDA evolved into a full election operations platform covering precinct management, poll worker self-service portals, FOIA / Open Records, and election workflow automation. This positioned BallotDA as a comprehensive solution for end-to-end election administration.
Multi-State Expansion and Election Partnerships
BallotDA expanded beyond Georgia into Florida, collaborating with the Florida Supervisors of Elections and supporting multiple jurisdictions. This phase strengthened our position as a trusted election technology partner across states.
AI-Powered Election Intelligence Layer
We introduced an AI-powered layer designed for election administration, including policy guidance tools, voter engagement platforms, and intelligent support systems. These capabilities help election officials navigate complex regulations and improve voter communication across all 50 states.
A National Platform for Election Administration
Today, BallotDA is a growing national election management platform, helping county and state election leaders run more prepared, efficient, and transparent elections. The introduction of Nadia, our AI-powered digital assistant, marks the next step in transforming election operations and voter engagement.
What drives every decision we make
Elections before everything
Every feature, every product decision, every support call is filtered through one question: does this make elections run better for the officials managing them and the voters depending on them?
Honest about what we know
Election administration is a specialized, high-stakes discipline. We work alongside election officials, not above them. Our expertise is technology. Theirs is elections.
Available when it matters most
Anyone can provide good support on a slow Tuesday. Our commitment is to be reachable and effective on the days that actually count: from the 72-hour push to 11pm on election night.
Built to last
Election offices don't change vendors easily, and they shouldn't have to. We build for longevity, document everything, and design our platform so that it gets better every election cycle.
Simple enough for election day
If a poll worker with minimal technology experience can't use it at 5am on election day, we haven't done our job. Simplicity, at scale, under pressure: that's our goal.
Nonpartisan by design
BallotDA serves Republican and Democratic counties with exactly the same product. Election integrity is not a political position. It's a professional obligation.
